Remember, we want the planed edge to be on the side we stretch the canvas over, plus we will need some space between the canvas and the braces - so it is time to flip the frame over and attach the supports onto the BACK of the frame.
The squares go over the brace intersections - with the corners set in the center of the boards. Place them and then trace their outline.
Once traced, add a dab of glue INSIDE the outline. Don't put glue along the edge - as it will seep out and make a mess.
